The British boxer is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight-bout match which will be streamed in real-time on the streaming platform.
British boxer Joshua declared he will "dominate completely" Jake Paul and "break" his opponent as the two fighters confronted each other to publicize next month's boxing match.
Former twice unified heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a huge uneven pairing - at Miami Kaseya Center on December 19th.
Boxer's Attitude
"I plan to break his face and hurt his body. My goal is to show I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35, said.
"I will dominate him completely. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I intend to really want to injure him. That's my intention."
Respectful Interaction
In spite of those words, a composed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - typically famous for his theatrics - shared friendly words and kept it respectful with each other.
Jake Paul rather attacked former Joshua's rival Francis Ngannou and called him "not serious" after the Cameroonian turned down a bout proposal.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Joshua, meanwhile, took aim at UK opponent Tyson Fury - and refused a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a Paul victory.
"Jake Paul is superior to Fury - he's present here," Joshua stated.
"I give him credit for that."
Legitimate Opponent
Despite saying he intends to hurt Jake Paul, Joshua declined to comment unfavorably about his rival's fighting skills.
"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he remarked.
Jake Paul's Background
Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has mostly fought MMA fighters or faded names since becoming pro.
He was defeated by British fighter Tommy Fury in 2023.
Financial Success
Still, the relative newcomer continues to be one of the sport's biggest financial successes, regularly earning substantial paydays.
Forecast and Belief
The 28 year old anticipated a stoppage in rounds four or five and stated he would stop the long-awaited Fury-Joshua bout, which is apparently under discussion for two years from now.
"It's going to be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul said.
Physical Difference
As both boxers met for the traditional stare-down, with their height and weight contrast on show, it drove home just how unlikely this whole event is - and how amazing it is that the match is truly happening.
